Safety glasses with CX+ filter, another version of the Cooper filter

CX+ technology or Cooper filter: take care of your eyesight by reducing glare and fatigue.

At Pegaso Safety, we have developed the CX+ filter, an improved version of the Cooper filter.

The main objective was to improve the performance of Cooper filter safety glasses, optimise fatigue reduction and improve sharpness. Let's take a look at the improvements brought about by this technology point by point:

• Better protection for the retina against harmful radiation
  It probably blocks or attenuates ultraviolet rays (UVA/UVB) as well as some high-energy blue light. This helps prevent eye strain, long-term retinal damage, premature ageing of the lens (cataracts) and other problems.
• Reduced glare
  By filtering out annoying reflections from bright lights (headlights, sunlight, screens), it can improve visual clarity and make vision more comfortable in bright conditions.
• Better visual contrast
  By eliminating or reducing ‘unnecessary’ or annoying light, the perception of contours, colours and details is improved, making it easier to see up close, read, drive, etc.
• Significant reduction in eye strain
  Less glare, less disruptive or annoying light, protection from screens → all of this reduces the effort required by the eyes, which can reduce headaches, irritation and the feeling of eye fatigue.
• Greater visual comfort
  By adapting better to changing light conditions (if they contain photochromic components, for example), they allow for more relaxed vision both indoors and outdoors.
